Popular Medical College & Hospital
Since its inception in 2010 Popular Medical College has been engaged in producing “doctors with a difference capable of taking the charge of the future”. It is on the verge of the fulfillment of its commitment and the 1st batch of the students will appear in the final professional examination of the university in January 2016. The College has always emphasized quality teachers, teaching materials, and a student-friendly environment.
Research Cell
Popular Medical College has established a Research Cell which represents the research interest and activities of Popular Medical College and Hospital. It aims to foster, design and execute high quality, multi disciplinary research in PMC. It initiates, facilitates, documents and monitors all research activities carried out in Popular Medical College & Hospital. Research cell invites and reviews protocols of proposed research activities and is responsible for the allocation of research grants, when available. On clearance for research the protocol requires ethical clearance by the ethical review committee of Popular Medical College before final approval for research is granted by the cell.
Library
The Medical College library is spacious enough to accommodate ample reading space for present and future students and holds essential latest edition text books including reference titles and others. It remains open even for evening studies under the guidance of a teacher.
Admission procedure for foreign students:
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility for admission in non-government medical colleges of Bangladesh are required to apply in prescribed form along with the following documents (anyone of the procedures may be followed).
- SSC / equivalent examination mark sheets
- HSC / Equivalent examination marksheets
- Equivalence certificates of the above mark sheets from the Director Medical Education, DGHS of Bangladesh
- No objection certificate from the Ministry of Education of the respective country of the candidate
- Undergraduate Elligibility Certificate / No objection Certificate from the Medical and Dental Council of the respective country stating their permission to study in Popular Medical College.
Admission Fee (for foreign students for the session 2020-21)
The total five year package amount is US$ 45,000 (Forty Five thousand) only which includes five years tution fees. Goverment fee, university fee, accommodation & Internship fee (Refundable during internship). food is to be paid extraor to arrange by the candidate.
Mode of payment
The Payment shall have to be made as per following shedule

Note: Candidates are to book their seat for US$ 10,000 (NON-Refundable) by a date fixed by the college as per the program of admission notified by the government. you are to complete all the admission formalities on or before 31st December 2020 with payment of the rest of the amount of US$ 10,000.00 and submission of other required documents at that time.
